It all began in 2006 with a sea of bare walls in a new home in Palm Desert, California.

Faced with the task of filling all that empty space, Doug McIntosh, owner of McIntosh Marketing, embarked upon a quest to find suitable artwork. Initial excitement soon gave way to frustration as Doug realized there were a dearth of sites which offered themed art sets; much less the ability to create such sets in an affordable manner.

He then turned to traditional brick and mortar stores. What he found were bins filled with hundreds of affordable prints but no feasible way to match them together in ways that were pleasing to the eye.

Thus, opportunity rose from need and ThemedArtSets.com was born.
